WhatsApp integration temporarily disabled

Following a recent change to WhatsApp’s data-protection and GDPR requirements, we have temporarily disabled the integration to ensure full GDPR compliance. We are already working on a privacy-compliant solution and will re-enable the feature as soon as it is available.

Full email inbox in Fiscova

Connect one or more Gmail and Outlook accounts and manage emails directly in Fiscova — with attachments, personal signatures, auto-saved drafts, and a configurable send delay that lets you retract accidentally sent messages. Folders stay bidirectionally synchronised with your Gmail labels and Outlook folders. Emails now also appear grouped per client in the Recent Communication view.

New navigation, quick search (Cmd-K), and mobile view

Redesigned sidebar with a command palette (Cmd-K) for quickly searching clients and features. Settings have been reorganised — email accounts are now found under Integrations — and now warn about unsaved changes. All pages are optimised for tablet and mobile, and the Terms and Conditions are now fully available in German.

Agenda Connect in closed beta

Agenda is now in closed beta. Firms on the waiting list will be granted access gradually over the next four weeks. The integration follows the same pattern as DATEV and ADDISON: master data sync, inbox, and document filing.

WhatsApp Business is now available as a dedicated channel. Incoming messages and voice notes are automatically assigned to the correct client and filed in DATEV. Fiscova drafts replies for you — approval remains in your hands.

Firms with multiple locations or with clients managed across several advisers benefit from significantly more precise matching in this release. The match rate in our pilot firms rose from 91 to 96 per cent.

Deadline detection now handles conditional deadlines

Phrasings such as "within one month of notification" or "no later than 14 days after receipt" are now correctly resolved when the reference date appears in the same letter. Ambiguous constructions continue to be flagged as "requires review".

Transcription recognises dialects more reliably

The underlying language model was fine-tuned with an extended dataset covering southern German and Austrian dialects. In pilot firms from Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg, the error rate for proper nouns dropped by 34 per cent.

Firm dashboard now shows channel statistics

The firm dashboard now includes a new Communication Volume section. It shows, per channel (phone, email, WhatsApp, letter), how many items arrived in the last 30 days and how quickly they were processed on average. No KPIs, no gamification — just a factual overview.

Accidentally dropped calls are no longer duplicated

In rare cases, calls dropped within the first two seconds were written to the record twice. This behaviour has been fixed — existing duplicates can be merged via the firm dashboard.
